A Cappella Choir Tour Payment Schedule

Everyone,

I got the revised payment schedule today for the A Cappella Choir tour. Each of the choir students should have taken this information in a packet home with them. The packet has additional information too. Look for it.

Here's the payment schedule:

October 25 -     $180 and Consent and Authorization Form
November 22 - $150
December 20 - $150
January 17 -     $150
February 14 -   $100
March 7 -         $100

Tour will be amazing. It's on April 10-15th, 2014.

A Cappella Choir Tour Approval - Due Tomorrow (9/19/2013)

Parents and Students,

Alpine School District needs to have the tour approval forms in earlier than we first thought. So, if you haven't already filled it out and sent it to school please download the file and sign the last page. Return the page tomorrow (9/19/2013).

Be honest, you can approve of the proposed tours or not but we still need your form.

The students will be graded on this.

2013-14 Calendar is posted

It's here. The 2013-14 Choir calendar has been posted.  You can see it on the Calendar page. We included all of the scheduled concerts and tours so mark your calendars and plan ahead.

Now, this calendar isn't locked in stone. If any changes come up Lois Johnson will let the students know and we'll try to notify you through the blog and email.

The 2013-14 Chamber Choir is now posted

We're glad to announce that Mama J. has selected next year's Chamber choir. The list is now available on the updated Chamber Choir page. Thanks to all who auditioned. We want you to know that the musical talent here at Lone Peak is awesome! 

Congratulations to all of you who made the choir and a big thanks those of you who are continuing our great musical tradition!

Winter Concert Time Has Changed

Everyone, the start time for the Winter Concert on February 26th has been changed. It will now start at 6:00 pm. 

Here are the call times:
A Cappella - Be in the auditorium at 5:00 pm.
Men's and Ladies' Choruses - Be in the auditorium at 5:30 pm.
Chamber - Show up early and be ready to sing.

Choir,

Can you believe it? Only 6 weeks until tour. It's going to be amazing!

I have some information about Carnegie Hall Concert Tickets.

Students, you will each receive a ticket from Mama J the day of the concert. All chaperones will also get a free ticket as part of the cost of the tour.

To anyone else who wishes to attend the concert you can purchase tickets from the Carnegie Hall ticket office. They cost $75 each. All tickets are general admission.

No one will be admitted to the hall without a ticket.

Their business hours are:
Mon-Sat:  11:00 am - 6:00 pm
Sunday & legal holidays:  12:00 pm - 6:00 pm
